Just as I thought the Vapor Power couldn't be improved as my main doubles paddle, 11SIX24 found a way to make it even better, at least from my perspective. When I hit my Vapor Power and Alpha Pro one after another, I immediately felt the Vapor Alpha Pro has more bite/dwell time. While the power level is similar, the extra dwell time improved my control/touch on drops and dinks. Like the Vapor Power, the Vapor Alpha Pro has virtually no dead spots on off center hits, a must for a good doubles paddle. Another improvement is the solid handle base that gives it a quality feel. I can definitively confirm the solid handle base as I unwrapped the factory grip and added material to reshape the grip to my liking. I believe 11SIX24 is now using a solid handle base in the new Vapor Power production paddles as well. Lastly, the Vapor Alpha Power recently won me USAP Golden Tickets to this year's Nationals in mixed and mens doubles. Bottomline: Either the Vapor Power or the Vapor Alpha Pro will improve your game!
Love the extra feel and more drive from the baseline!
Just what the Vapor Power was missing. Love this paddle. Definitely is my new main.
Great balance with a bucket of power! Perfect dwell with awesome spin!
Very happy with new paddle. Good combination of power, control, and spin.
