Ultré
Power 2
A flat top and flat sides. No taper. No aero curve.
We traded the curve for geometry. The result is a larger sweet spot, a consistent feel down the face, and stability.
The face does more when the edges stop curving in.
Tapered and aero shapes pull material away from the corners to chase lower swing weight. The Ultré keeps the face square - flat across the top, flat down both sides - so the hitting surface stays uniform from edge to edge.
Larger Sweet Spot
Square corners keep a responsive surface, whereas curved shapes give it up. More of the face plays like the center.
Consistent Feel Down the Face
No taper means the response barely changes from the throat to the tip. Vertical off-center contact reads the same as clean contact.
Stability Through Contact
Mass carried out to the flat edges resists twist on contact, so the head stays square when the ball lands off-axis.
Built to the millimeter.
Power players who refuse to give up the face.
The Ultré is for the player who swings with intent but wants the whole paddle working for them - not just the middle.
The Shape is For:
- →Those who want a larger margin on mishits.
- →Play a two-handed backhand and need the handle length for it.
- →Want elongated-style reach without the narrow, punishing face that usually comes with it.
- →Value a face that feels the same shot after shot over raw swing speed.
Where the Ultré sits.
Three shapes, one Power 2 core. The Ultré slots between the Hybrid and the Elongated — reach and a square face, without the taper.
Same 16mm core and HexGrit face across the series. The Ultré is the pick when you want the reach of an elongated profile but a face that stays square and forgiving from edge to edge.
Good to know.

What makes the Ultré shape different?
The top and both sides are flat - there's no taper or aero curve pulling in the sweet spot. That keeps the hitting surface full all the way to the corners, which is where the larger sweet spot and consistent feel come from.
How does it compare to the Hybrid and Elongated?
It sits between them. You get reach closer to the Elongated, but a wider, forgiving face that plays more like the Hybrid. All three share the same 16mm core and HexGrit surface.
What is HexGrit?
HexGrit is our patent-pending, long-lasting texture, engineered for bite and built to hold its texture. It's one of the longest-lasting grits on the market - so spin stays consistent well into the paddle's life.
Is the 5.5″ handle good for a two-handed backhand?
Yes. The 5.5″ handle gives a second hand room to stack on, and the 4.125″ circumference is a standard grip most players can build up or play as-is.
Is it tournament approved?
Yes - the Ultré Power 2 is UPA-A approved and tournament legal. Specs are listed above.
What does the 30-day play test cover?
Play with it for 30 days. If the shape isn't for you, send it back for a full refund (less $10 return shipping) or a swap to another Power 2 shape.
