This is my first full-foam paddle, and coming from a Gen 3 paddle, the difference was immediately noticeable.
My biggest issue with my previous paddle was the vibration. The pop and power were great, but after playing for a while, the vibration started bothering my arm. It eventually became something I couldn't ignore.
Then I tried the 11SIX24 Ultré Power 2.
The first thing I noticed? Smooth. Really smooth.
The full-foam construction gives the paddle a very solid, controlled feel at contact. There’s much less of that sharp vibration you get from some paddles, and the impact feels more muted and comfortable.
It doesn't feel dead, though. There's still plenty of power when you need it, but it feels more controlled and predictable. Drives feel solid, resets are comfortable, and the paddle has a very satisfying feel when you make clean contact.
Coming from a Gen 3 paddle, I initially thought I might miss the explosive feel and pop. But after playing with the Ultré Power 2, I started appreciating the smoothness and stability more.
For me, the biggest selling point isn't even the power.
It's the comfort.
My arm simply feels better after playing.
So far, the Ultré Power 2 has been a very refreshing change — less vibration, solid feel, good power, and just an overall smooth experience.
First full-foam paddle for me, and honestly… I'm liking it.
