Wasn't quite sure what this paddle was compared to the standard Vapor Power. It seemed a bit too soft for deep soft work and baseline drives. Even though the spin is supposedly the same, the Alpha seemed like it had more, dwell time perhaps. I added 1 gram of 1/4" tungston (1 inch long) on each side at the same level as the center of the sweet spot, maybe just a touch above. It seems like just a little weight went a long ways. Soft game is back, plow through on drives is better, hand speed at the net is good, 8 1/4 oz total with weight and a slightly heavier regrip. This paddle is a weapon now :)

The paddle plays very well,not to hot that you can’t control the power,but also very soft in the dinking game,I really think you knocked it out of the park with this one

I had the Hurache, but I think the Vapor shape is a better fit for me. I find that I have faster hands at the kitchen, and it doesn't strain my wrist as much. The Alpha Pro Power also has significant amount of more dwell time, so you feel like you can shape your shots much better which is more spin and control at the same time. You will love this paddle and it will help take your game to the next level!

In October - the Alpha 1 was the best paddle i ever used.
In February the Hurache Power was the best paddle i ever used.
Now - the Alpha pro power is the best paddle I’ve ever used.
