I played with a couple of super expensive Selkirk foam paddles that were awesome, but they never felt like home. I borrowed a friend's Vapor Jelly Bean on the court one day and it immediately felt like the right paddle. I have more control and don't see like I'm always hitting the ball too hard.
Excellent paddle for starting out. For the money it is definitely worth it for learning/progressing your game
My main paddle is the Pegasus jellybean. This paddle just didn’t do it for me. I was expecting the same level of forgiveness and sweet spot and it’s just not there, not even remotely close. Not worth giving up the stability of the other paddle to gain a fraction a fraction of an inch in reach and a little bit of power.
New to pickleball but with a bit of a tennis background. I bought the Pegasus and Vapor not knowing which one I would like best, but after 2 weeks of play testing, I've got to give the trophy to the Vapor. It was easy to swing and aim my volleys. Compared to the Vatic Prism Flash (which felt almost TOO light and no *oomph*) the Vapor Jelly Bean felt more balanced and slightly more powerful.
Really great product and amazing for the price!
I’ve tried Joola, CRBN, and Vatic and this is the best of them all!
