I have been wanting this paddle for so long and during 11SIX24's Black Friday sale I finally made the purchase, and I am so glad I did. This paddle is the perfect blend of power, pop and dwell (control). Even though in stock form I found it to be head light I still find the paddle to be very maneuverable after adding five grams of tungsten on top.
Nice balance of power and touch
Big sweet spot, light & easy to use
Light weight, large sweet spot, high twist weight, and customizable to open the sweet spot even more. I can’t believe the value versus performance and with paddles continuing to creep up in price I’m happy 11six24 kept this reasonable. I’m an advanced player that focuses on consistency, speed ups, effortless resets, and spin and the paddle helps makes all of these things easier 9 out of 10 times. I would say that if you prefer a 2 handed backhand go with the Vapor model. It can be done with the Pegasus but feels awkward given the shape of the paddles throat.
Overall the paddle feels great. The sound off the paddle is unnervingly loud. Not sure if that is the case across the board? More pop and power than I'm used to, but controllable.
