Description

The soft paddle that still bites.

The Jelly Bean is back - and this time the grit lasts.

This is not a power paddle, and we're not going to pretend it is. The Jelly Bean 2 runs a softer, denser foam that gives you real dwell on the ball: longer contact, more feel, more control at the kitchen line. Dekel Barr called it "sneaky power," which is about right. You won't overpower anyone off the bounce, but you'll place the ball where you want it and find pace when you need it.

If you loved the Alpha Pro Powers, or you've always played a softer paddle and never found one that held up, this is the one. It's a completely different animal from the Power 2 - that paddle hits; this paddle plays.

Paired with our durable HexGrit surface, so the spin you buy is the spin you keep. UPA-A approved.

Not for you if: you want raw put-away power off the serve or a paddle that does the work for you.

QUICK ANSWERS

IS THE JELLY BEAN 2 RIGHT FOR YOU?

Straight answers to the questions players ask before choosing a Jelly Bean 2.

What is the Jelly Bean 2?

The Jelly Bean 2 is an all-court-focused pickleball paddle built around a softer, denser EMA foam core for longer dwell, touch, and predictable placement.

Is it a control or power paddle?

It is primarily an All Court paddle with low pop. The soft core is tuned for resets, dinks, and drops. Even though it's soft, there is enough finishing power when you accelerate through the ball.

Who is it best for?

It is best for players who prioritize a forgiving sweet spot, dependable touch, and spin over maximum raw power.

What changed from the original Jelly Bean?

Jelly Bean 2 adds a softer, denser EMA foam construction and the addition of HexGrit

Which shape should I choose?

Shape is all a personal preference. If you want the maximum sweet spot, choose the Pegasus. The Vapor and Ultré are the best all-rounders. The Hurache-X has the most reach and will feel the most natural to ex-tennis players.

What is included?

Every Jelly Bean 2 includes a neoprene cover and is backed by the warranty and return terms shown on this page.

Jellybean 2 Ultre - shock and awe spin and a very linear power curve

I bought a Jellybean 2 Ultre for two specific reasons, and it really delivers.

First, as a former tennis player, I play with a lot of spin. The JB2 delivers more spin than anything I’ve ever played with. On serves, I can take people even further off court, and my topspin serve really kicks.

Second, I’m coming off a diving board core Gen 3 paddle, and have found that poppy power paddles can be difficult to modulate returns on big cannonball serves and in firefights at the net.

The JB2 is softer and has a more linear power curve, instead of the poppy “cliff” that I’ve experienced with power paddles. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a dead paddle, there’s still plenty of power, it’s just more controlled with that more straight line power curve.

I like the feel, as well. I know dwell time is more feel than fact, but I think you do get more of that control feel with the paddle, and for me, that’s confidence.

I’m a 4.0 on good days and a 3.5 on bad. And I love the jelly bean 2 Ultre.

What an amazing paddle!

I absolutely love this paddle! I’ve been playing with more power paddles as of late, but felt like I needed more control than power when playing the soft game. I already knew that hexgrit was amazing, but combining it with the pocketed feeling that occurs when hitting the ball gives it even more spin. The soft and dense feeling is quite a stark contrast from the power paddles on the market with their stiff and hollow attributes. My drops and drips have been more successful and resets now don’t launch high into the for another smash down on me. Power is there when you need it, so it doesn’t feel like it is a dud. I know the power 2 series is now their flagship paddles, but truly feel like this is an underrated set. Build quality and construction is solid and love the design. It has become my main paddle and don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Jelly Bean2 is Ultre fun

I ordered a Power2 Vapor a month ago but couldn't pry it loose from my wife's hands. She's an accomplished tennis player w excellent footwork n hand/coordination and benefited from the P2 pop. In my case, I decided to opt for control to help my resets, dinks and subduing a "banger's"drives. The Jelly Bean2 w its new core n Ultre shape has helped w it's larger sweet spot n more absorbing core. I am more relaxed and confident bc I am less inclined to "pop" up shots and can actually swing harder to generate more spin n keep my shots in bounds. On a more subjective topic, the graphics n color are amazing n unique to the Jelly Bean; and, is $40 cheaper than the P2 paddle.

Sneaky Power

This paddle is definitely not a power paddle! If you are looking for a paddle that is soft in the feeling, has great dwell and outstanding spin then this is the one for you. Don't sleep on this paddle, once customized it will put balls away. Another upside is the handle length along with the taper of the throat makes a two handed backhand feel not as cramped.

Jellybeans Jellybeans woo hoo

I started the 11six24 journey with the Lavender Ultre’ P2. What a great paddle, however, I found myself hitting a few more counter out than I liked. Then my buddy got the JB2 and talked me into getting one. He sold his and I was waiting on mine thinking ok well we will see. Wow what a great surprise!! The Grape JB2 Ultré is not only aesthetically amazing it’s just the paddle I need for my game. My first control paddle ever and boy has it given my game some spark. Everything stays in, I feel like I have a super power now. 💪🏼😝😜 I liked it so much I bought the Pegasus and the Vapor. Wow just wow!!

Amazing Paddle!

had a great experience with my paddle. love the design and the color so much! still adjusting to the new feel, but the grit is top tier and the handle is very comfy for two hands. the foam in the core is also amazing. i'm pulling off resets more and less popups in the kitchen than before. though ultré is a great shape, i think the sweet spot might be a little small for me. still having a hard time returning balls from putaways, hard drives, and overheads.

Best paddle for beginner

I have been played for over 2 yrs. This paddle is a game changer. It doesn’t pop or insane power like Power 2 series, but it forces me to focus on the technique to get the ball in play while provide great forgiveness and good sweet spot

I gravitate towards power paddles because I have a bad shoulder

I gravitate towards power paddles because I have a bad shoulder. I was so hesitant to get this for myself since I was already very happy with my hurache x power 2. But this paddle just blew me away. Yes it has less power but the sweet spot is huge. This paddle forced me to be more creative with my shot choices which made my pickleball games more enjoyable. Never thought that was actually possible

Confidence in your swings!

Love the original JellyBean series and this update makes it even better! Brings the control of the original JBs and adds a touch more power/pop for the modern game. Hexgrit is proven and so good knowing you will have amazing spin for a long while. Dinks/3rds and resets are just magic with the JB2. All-Court power/pop + Hexgrit gives you the confidence to go after your swings and know it won't fly on you!

Another amazing paddle from 11Six24 and a true evolution!

Although this paddle is named the Jellybean2 and is the originals successor in many ways, it also includes the essence and playing characteristics of the previous All Court and Alpha Pro Power paddles too!
It's low pop and high spin give the player the ability to surgically place just about any shot wherever they want. Although it's not topping out on the Power scale by todays metrics, it is still not found lacking when a fuller swing is utilized.
If you want a lower pop control style paddle that lets' you place and rest the ball to dictate point construction, this could be the paddle for you!!

Paddle so quickly, in perfect condition. The paddle cover is an excellent addition. The grit on the paddle is amazing. Just started using the paddle but so far it seems to be an excellent all court paddle.

Love it... light feel and touch. Surface is super gritty, yielding top tier spin. Took me no time to adjust.

Give it a few sessions to break in. But after it does you won’t be disappointed. This is the best feeling on a paddle I’ve ever experienced. If like me you have the Pegasus shape as well, I’d recommend grabbing the Hex caps as well. The ultre’s a little more head heavy out of the box than I’m use to, but other than that I think it plays perfectly. If you’re coming from a paddle with a similar balance point to the Ultre, you’ll love it, no mods needed.

Highly Recommended!

I own both the Power 2 Ultré and The Jellybean 2 Ultré. While both paddles are excellent, the Jellybean 2 really suits my game. The combination of grit, spin, and control, makes this an EXCELLENT paddle. The Jellybean 2 seems to have more “dwell” and delivers great feedback. After one 3-hour session, I was hooked.
