It is great. Enjoying the nice snap I get. Just have to get used to not hit too flat so the ball does not go long. Wonder how much spin it has on it. It does not show on listed details.
My wife and I are new pickleballers. We've been playing off and on for about 3 months and have put in probably 25-35 hours on the court. We started out with a 2 paddles for $100 deal from a competing company (you know the one) and, while fine, I was not super impressed. After reading a lot of comments online about the quality and value of paddles from 11six24, I pulled the trigger on this one as a test.
I must say, I am thrilled with this paddle all the way around. I don't have much experience using other paddles on the market, but I can't say I care at this point. The comfort and control I feel while using this is fantastic. Dinks, resets, and drops are much easier than before, but the pop off the face is still present if you hit the (large) sweet spot with some pace. The raw carbon fiber is super grippy and I can generate noticeably more spin on the ball. I like the hybrid shape of the Vapor and the grip feels great in my hand.
I am already considering buying another 11six24 paddle for my wife, possibly trying one of the all court or power paddles this time. The Jelly Bean is a crazy good value, though, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a well-made, balanced control paddle for around $100.
I am loving this paddle. It has excellent spin and control. It also has enough pop and power to get the job done at the kitchen and on overheads and drives. I like it so much I ordered a second one as a backup.
Very pleased with the ease of extra power this paddle generates, without compromising control.
Even though I don't use two hands on the backhand, appreciate the longer grip.
The price point, and great feel of the paddle, make it a great value, would recommend to my friends.
Excellent value
