My last paddle was a Selkirk Halo ("Max" shape, "Control" variant). I wanted a good all around paddle, with good spin, and an extended grip to develop my two-handed backhand. I found several reviews online about this paddle and have found it to be a great all around paddle for a reasonable price. It has more pop which is useful for hand battles at the net and also drives. Drops have been a bit harder to adjust to (I find myself popping them up at bit more than I want), but overall I'm very happy with this paddle. I haven't had it that long but it's holding up well so far.
Easy to order. Shipped fast and received before date given. Best feeling paddle I've ever played. Highly recommend.
The all court series imo was over shadowed by the power. Don't get me wromg, both are great paddles(I have used 3 Hurache-X models, Power, all court and control(kev14mm), but have different feel to them. The All court has a nice plush feel with good power. Does not have as much pop as the power which is a plus for my style.
I use a volair Mach 2 Forza for doubles and in 4.5 range, i started noticing people using 11six24 paddles and researched for a while and the similarities to the Volair Mach 2 Forza but with a longer grip, surface of hurache all - court has an outer more flat and firm feel at the edges. This paddle allows you to drive with top spin sooo cleanly and precisely just over the tape of the net. I hit counters and resets that i didn’t think were possible with this paddle. Last thing is i wanted to implement a twooey and the Mach 2 forza grip is just small and maneuverable so the hurache finally is allowing me to rip perfectly placed two handed baseline returns and drives. And eventually a twooey in transition zone and near kitchen with my volley:
